Square Fish is a production company and crew agency rolled into one, making both live action and animation programs for Australian companies. We offer a complete end-to-end service from concept to creation and our network of professionals includes writers, directors, camera operators, sound recordists, make-up artists, drone operators, editors, graphic designers and animators.

While video production looks simple, it’s highly technical and intricate. Getting every stage right takes knowledge and skill and a steady hand. Whether you’ve commissioned videos before or you’re a complete novice, we’re here to walk and talk you through the process, every step of the way.

We love what we do and take pride in educating our clients about the various production stages so you feel informed and supported throughout the journey.

About Us

Square Fish has been producing videos for almost 20 years, starting out in Sydney before relocating to the Southern Highlands of NSW. In that time, we’ve grown an impressive network of highly skilled professional crew based in capital cities and regional areas across the country.

This network gives us a unique advantage in that it enables us to service clients all over Australia, seamlessly bridging country and city and industries as diverse as agriculture, education, fashion and music.

We’re listeners, learners and storytellers and see it as our mission to make your voice and your story heard. With video production now totally digital and readily accessible via the internet, being centrally located in a city office is no longer necessary.

From our regional base, just an hour south of Sydney, Square Fish services clients all over Australia from cattle stations in western Queensland to indigenous schooling programs in Tennant Creek.

Hamish Siddins – Director

Hamish Siddins and his content business, Square Fish, have been providing creative solutions for clients for almost 20 years.

We take great pride in being a name trusted to see a job delivered on time, on budget and to brief and that pride is manifest in the number of return clients we get.

Hamish will be your first point of contact in regard to scheduling and creative direction and will be on hand through to the completion of your project.

Lucy Lugton – Production Manager

Lucy is a marketing communications specialist and production manager with a colourful career spanning over a decade both in Australia and the UK.

Having worked on big name brands such as the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, Australian Museum, Optus, Westfield, Virgin Media, Sunglass Hut, Bell Shakespeare, EMI Music Australia and Mission Australia, Lucy understands the importance of audience first strategic marketing campaigns to build awareness, conversion and loyalty.
