Wardrobe Wingbirds – Nikki
THE BRIEF
Birdsnest had an idea to capture the connection between everyday working Australian women and their thoughts on fashion and style. Deciding on a different approach than using fashion models, Square Fish came on board to tell the story of working country women and their connection to clothing viewed through the paradox of femininity and practicality.
THE SOLUTION
As a mother of three, Nikki has her work cut out for her from the first moment of the day. Working full time alongside her husband on their Adelong cattle property, she doesn’t have a lot of time to spend thinking about what she’ll wear for the day but still likes to dress up for a trip to town. Square Fish followed her day from morning on, capturing her story on what outfits bring her joy.
