North Star Trail Ride
THE BRIEF
North Star is a small town with a huge heart. Located in north west NSW, the town’s social life is centered around the local sports club. That club is funded in part, by an annual Trail Bike Ride where local landowners open their gates and hundreds of riders ascend for a weekend of adventure. In order to help with sponsorship and marketing of the event, Square Fish was brought on board to film the weekends activities.
THE SOLUTION
Now this was fun to shoot. A good chance to break out all the toys as we needed to shoot from the ground, from the sky and from the bikes. We tried to capture the challenges the ride puts forward to the more advanced rider, as well as show that at it’s heart, the North Star Trail Ride is for the whole family to enjoy.
We love small Australian communities and this event gives us a great chance to support a good cause.
