City and Colour
THE BRIEF
Chugg Entertainment has had a long relationship with Dallas Green, aka City and Colour, being in charge of each of his tours to Australia. They got Square Fish on board to produce promotional content for his upcoming Australian Tour by spending a few hours with the artist on a one-stop-only promo tour. The idea was to tell the story of Dallas and his band’s connections to the country from his years of coming here.
THE SOLUTION
Square Fish was given venue access early in the afternoon to film the artist sound check for his solo performance that night. After shooting an interview in a bar next door we filmed backstage and then filmed as City and Colour took to the stage and blew the intimate crowd away.
The final piece was cut into four mini-episodes and pushed through Chugg Entertainment and City and Colour’s own channels.
