Cattle Need Room, Not Fences.
THE BRIEF
McDonald Holdings (MDH) represent six generations of a family farming business which has bred cattle in Australia for 190 years.
Running 175,000 head of cattle across 14 properties in Queensland, and with a genuine farm to fork approach, MDH had an incredible story to tell and wanted Square Fish to tell it.
THE SOLUTION
The MDH story fell right into the passion of Square Fish – an agricultural story that has been passed down for generations.
With proven strength in agricultural filming, Square Fish structured the shoot around a long muster, following the team as they moved a herd of cows and their calfs across one of their vast properties in Queensland. Some months later, Square Fish re-joined the MDH team to film at their busy feedlot.
The result, a humbling and beautifully craft video that tells the long family history of MDH.
